VISION & PRIORITIES

Building Parkland's future. Today

Fiscal Responsibility

By pursuing value-driven solutions and building strategic partnerships, we can deliver essential infrastructure and services more efficiently—ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used responsibly while maintaining balanced budgets. This approach allows us to meet the needs of a growing community without increasing the financial burden on residents.

Economic Growth

Fostering strong partnerships with the business community is essential to driving strategic development within Parkland County’s central business hubs. By attracting and supporting new investment, we can stimulate economic growth, create high-quality jobs, and expand our business tax base—strengthening the county’s financial sustainability and reducing the burden on residential taxpayers.

Public Safety

Prioritizing the improvement of key intersections, enhancing winter road maintenance, and supporting rural crime prevention initiatives are essential steps to ensure the safety, security, and overall well-being of both residents and visitors in our community. By investing in critical infrastructure and community safety programs, we can build a stronger, safer Parkland County for everyone.

Sustainability

Protecting Parkland County’s natural resources through responsible and sustainable practices is vital to preserving the beauty and integrity of our environment. By taking a long-term, balanced approach to growth and stewardship, we can ensure that future generations have the same opportunities to enjoy and benefit from our shared natural heritage.

ABOUT ME

I have proudly called Parkland County home for nearly a decade, where I live with my partner, Alisha, and our two dogs, Stella and Zoe. We cherish the natural beauty of our community and spend much of our free time outdoors, taking advantage of everything the county has to offer.

With nearly 20 years of experience in leadership roles across the commercial, oil & gas, and civil sectors, I have successfully managed numerous development projects through all phases—from initial planning and design to construction and ongoing operations.

I have also had the privilege of serving two consecutive terms on the Parkland County Economic Diversification Committee, contributing to initiatives that strengthen and grow our local economy. In addition, Alisha and I are actively involved with a local animal rescue organization, reflecting our shared passion for animal welfare and community engagement.

WHY I'M RUNNING

Parkland County is uniquely positioned to offer both exceptional natural beauty and strong economic opportunities. From the thriving industrial hub of Acheson to the lush forests and scenic banks of the North Saskatchewan River Valley, our county is truly a place of balance—where progress and nature coexist.

My vision is to see Parkland County reach its full potential while honoring the roots and values that define our community. Achieving this requires recognizing our place within a larger regional network and leveraging the strengths of our neighboring municipalities. By fostering meaningful connections, collaborations, and partnerships across both public and private sectors, we can create sustainable growth that benefits everyone.

Reducing unnecessary red tape and preparing shovel-ready land in key business corridors will be vital to driving strategic economic development. These efforts will not only strengthen our region’s economy but also help ensure an affordable cost of living for our residents—both today and for generations to come.
